As an artist I spent ten years in the “Rhone Alps” France. I really enjoyed exploring this area, either painting , skiing and walking. Virtually everything was different, the landscape, the vegetation, buildings and the people. While I lived in France I was a member of a French art group. In 2011 I was runner op in “Coutume et Traditions” art competition. In 2012 I was the winner of “Le Freney en Oisans” art competition
I have now retired to Cwmbran S. Wales and I have shown my Art Work at “Rhondda Heritage Open Art Exhibition” “Crickhowell Open Art Studios” “Blaenavon Heritage Art Exhibition” and many exhibitions in art centres in Cwmbran. I have also shown my work in Art Shows, outside of Wales.
I am always experimenting with different materials, I have produced paintings in Oil, Watercolours, Acrylics and Gouache. This wide use of materials gives me many opportunities to explore texture, form and colour that I use in my work.
